In industrial design, joints are often shaped with curves, as they provide a simple way to ensure strength. Therefore, a fundamental idea emerges: beauty is found in essential forms. This coat rack embodies that idea, these “meaningful curves” enhance strength of joints while becoming an integral part of the design.

工業デザインにおける接合部は、強度を確保するという理由から、曲線を用いて形づくられることがあります。そこには、機能を突き詰めることで導かれる「美しさ」を感じます。

このコートラックでは、接合部に生まれる曲線を単なる補強のための形としてではなく、デザインの核となる要素として捉えました。

強度を生み出すための曲線は、そのままプロダクトの表情となり、構造と美しさをひとつの形へと結びつけます。
